FAQ
Does the H&K USP9 Expert V1 accept standard USP mags?
Yes. The Expert uses the same full-size USP9 magazines as the standard USP, so any factory 15-, 18-, or 20-round mags will work. The included 10-rounders are for compliance with restricted states.
Can I mount a red dot on this pistol?
Not directly – the Expert slide is not optics-ready from the factory. You’ll need to send the slide to a gunsmith for milling or use a dovetail mount adapter. H&K does not offer an ORP (Optics Ready Pistol) version of the Expert.
What holsters fit the USP9 Expert?
Most full-size USP holsters will work if they have an open muzzle or are long enough for the 5.2″ barrel. We recommend Safariland 7TS or 6360 ALS models designed for the USP/Tactical. Avoid compact or subcompact holsters.
What’s the difference between V1 and V2?
V1 has the safety/decocker lever on the left side for right-handed shooters. V2 places the lever on the right side for left-handed shooters. Both variants use the same DA/SA trigger system.
