NSN. Made circa 1845-1855. This gun is in 50 caliber with a 4.5″ barrel. The bottom of the barrel has birmingham proof marks. This gun appears to be made by John Evans, an English Maker. The barrel still has approximately 50% of the brown Damascus pattern stripping. The stock shows normal carry use, but overall is very good. This gun has a silver band by the rear sight. The action works well. The hammer has been repaired.
