Serial number 289. Made circa 1855. 10.8mm caliber with a 6 ½” barrel. This is a nice sharp example of a very scarce French revolver. This gun was nickel plated and has approximately 50% of the finish still remaining on the barrel. The frame and cylinder have been cleaned and have a light gray patina. Various inspectors marks are on the barrel, frame and cylinder. The grips are very good. The action works perfectly. Comes with research paper work on Devisme revolver.
