
NSN. Made circa 1845. This gun is in 54 caliber with a 10″ barrel. This gun was made by Richard Hollis & Son of London and retailed at Hyde & Goodrich of New Orleans. The barrel is nice and sharp with thinning original brown and the Damascus pattern on the barrels. The lock is marked “Rich Hollis & Sons” The metal has very fine engraving. This is technically a target pistol due to the sights and set trigger. New Orleans retailer marked guns are highly collectable and considered secondary confederate pistols by some.
