Lock plate is marked “CLARK,” a known maker of Brown Bess muskets from 1777–1785. The butt plate is stamped “H.A.C.” indicating issue to the Honorable Artillery Company, and the trigger guard is marked “SW/15,” referencing a specific unit or rack number, likely linked to volunteer forces during the Napoleonic Wars.
