SN: 6260. Made in 1950, .38 Special with a 2″ barrel. Very early 5-screw Chiefs Special, made in the first year of production. Has the I-frame grip and trigger guard frame, and flat latch. Has about 80% original blue mixed with brown, mainly on the grip frame. The grips are very good with very light wear and are numbered to the gun. A very collectible early Chiefs Special.
