Caliber: 6.5 Creedmoor | Capacity: 5

Serial no. 42384. Manufactured circa 1917–1918 at Châtellerault Arsenal, chambered in 8mm Lebel, 17.8″ round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves, while the rifling remains strong and well defined. The carbine was updated in 1933 with a replacement barrel modified to accept the post-WWI Balle N 8mm Lebel cartridge. The stock shows expected handling and service wear but remains sound overall. A nice example of a WWI-production French carbine that was subsequently modernized for continued interwar and WWII-era service. Action is smooth and functions correctly
